Refund Policy
Effective Date: 3 July 2026
Last Updated: 3 July 2026
1. Overview
This policy outlines the conditions under which orders may be cancelled and refunds may be issued on the VallyLoop platform. Because payments on VallyLoop are processed via UPI transfer to Community Administrators, refunds are facilitated by the Community Administrator and not directly by VallyLoop.
2. Order Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation by Consumer
| Order Status | Cancellation Allowed? |
|---|---|
| Placed | Yes — full refund applicable |
| Confirmed | Yes — refund at discretion of Business Owner |
| In Progress | No |
| Completed | No |
Consumers may request cancellation through the Order detail screen in the app. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the order reaches "In Progress" status.
2.2 Cancellation by Business Owner
A Business Owner may cancel an order if:
- The requested service is unavailable.
- The Consumer's location or requirements cannot be fulfilled.
- The payment proof provided is invalid or unverifiable.
In such cases, the Consumer is entitled to a full refund.
2.3 Automatic Cancellation
Orders submitted with incomplete, unverifiable, or fraudulent payment information (UTR number or proof screenshot) may be cancelled by the Community Administrator without prior notice.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Refunds are processed by the Community Administrator to the Consumer's UPI ID.
3.2 To initiate a refund, contact your Community Administrator through the app or directly. Provide your order ID, payment UTR number, and reason for the refund request.
3.3 Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of the cancellation being confirmed by the Community Administrator.
3.4 VallyLoop does not hold any funds and is not responsible for the processing or delay of refunds. Disputes regarding refund amounts or timelines should be raised with the Community Administrator in the first instance.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The order has reached "In Progress" or "Completed" status.
- The service was delivered as described but the Consumer changed their mind.
- The Consumer provided incorrect UPI payment details and the payment cannot be traced.
- The cancellation request is made after the permitted window.
5. Disputes
If a Consumer and Business Owner cannot resolve a dispute regarding an order, the Community Administrator may mediate. If the dispute remains unresolved, either party may contact VallyLoop at support@vallyloop.com. VallyLoop will review the case and provide a recommendation, but the final resolution rests with the Community Administrator.
